Here's my recommendation (for what it's worth)...

Before you even arrange a date to "shoot" the video, you need to have an idea what you want to be in the video (what sort of scenes, music, words, etc.).  This will help you focus on what you want the video to look like and what content you'll need to "shoot."  Once you've decided on that, then look at getting some people together, possibly even before/after/during a scrim to shoot the video.
