There is something here for all of you.
Il y a quelque chose ici pour tout le vous.
Det finns något här för er alla.
You all belong here for different reasons. Some of you joined out of curiosity in what a unit was, others joined because you were invited, but many of you joined because you heard what we were like. You heard that we care for are people, and we treat you all equal. You also may have heard that we do things way different than everyone else, and believe it or not we do. Parker, and Ste-Marie decided they wanted something new. They wanted to make a unit that was fun and way better off than everyone else. The two pondered to themselves, and to each other "What can we do to make us great." They looked at the old 1.3 106th Infantry Division led by Carapanta, and knew exactly what they had to do. They set their eyes on one person, and that was who we call today, Major Seadog. Seadog was a terrible player, he couldn't hit me even if my in game character was 1000 pounds and was the size of a barn wall. Seadog could not for the life of him throw a grenade in game without killing everyone on his team. Seadog was an older guy, and still was looked as another jerk off who just joined a unit by will by the few in the 106th. But to Parker and Ste-Marie he proved otherwise. Parker and Ste-Marie noticed, he followed all of the rules, and helped as much as he could, he gave all of his free time to the unit and what was he given there? Nothing but a load of bull. Ste-Marie, and Parker had plans for this man and so did someone whom will be referred as "Bigger Than Us or BTU". Let us get a recap on Seadog before we move on. He is ex-military, follows all the rules of a unit, listened to all the bull he was given to by 16 year olds, and he has seen his most best of friends suffer. Parker and Ste-Marie told him we got a new thing going on and that you can be in it only if you become the Captain. Seadog had no idea how to Captain a unit or even throw a dang grenade for that matter. Seadog many would've considered the worst choice for a captain, and until this day Seadog believes that. But Seadog knows how to listen, and he knows when opportunity is knocking on his door. Seadog knew he had one chance to ride this train all the way through and he took it. 1.3s very own Seadog was now a Captain of a unit, and had 7 guys listening to every word he said. Out of the originals I know are Parker, Ste-Marie, Seadog, Grimes, and Hughes I believe. He and these 7 other members established basic rules to running a unit, no capping flags and suches, but most importantly they decided on no swearing. Seadog did time in war and we can say was a total potty mouth. But he decided this rules with them because he knew that it would enhance the game for all of the new members to come. The unit of theirs grew, and grew, and was the biggest thing to hit 1.3. Not to say the FSSF was the biggest unit because at times there were 3 other units bigger than it. 506th, 82nd, and 97th. Those all quickly shrunk and the FSSF was the biggest around weighing in at the peak of 1.3 at 70 members. The FSSF outlasted every attack and even set up its own defense system hid well under the shadows of the night the ring leader led these men about and each did as they were told one by one bringing in all the info that they could. Defending the unit was the only concern, what these people did made the unit stronger from behind the scenes, and made their enemies weaker and weaker. The FSSF only had enemies in 1.3 in its last three months but the disrespect and the anger against us did not drive us away. It only made us feel stronger, when people hate you for you being yourself, it is because you are doing something right. We had all the best members, and we had all the best players, we had young ones, old ones, fat ones, built ones, strong ones, weak ones, fast ones, and slow ones. Those who were good at game, and those who were just flat out terrible. But they were all welcomed here and only got better in the game in there lives. We had kids who were abused, picked on, raped, molested, robbed, witnessed suicide, drug addicts, alcoholics, and treated like crap their whole lives by their own families. The bulk of these members are still here because we give them a second home, and we give them a second family. Seadog constantly says he is here for the betterment of the people in this unit. And thats the truth, he wants everyone who comes in to come out better than before. Everyone who joins here is guaranteed a safe environment, and if there is anything that ever tampers with your well being, the unit has qualified people you can talk to. If one were to need a more prolific look into life there is the Chaplain Chris Britton, he is more than certified to help. He uses his Southern hospitality, and creates a non-bias environment for all. He is the units Chaplain for a reason, if he wasn't a good enough speaker he would not have been chosen. Perhaps you need an edgy yet appropriate talking to, Punkie the roughest diamonds of them all is excellent for cut and dry talks, if you wish to get to the point hes your man. He will tell you how it is, and bring you back down to Earth if you need to be. Have a drug problem, or have alcohol dependency Domination is not an AA, or NA but he has been through these issues and is learning to live life now clean and this unit is helping him do so. So if you need the point of view of someone who endured this hard narcotics life he is always available and is always looking for something to do. Stryker a business man, ex-military, him and Seadog are very much so alike. Both were real well with the ladies back in their days, and have done time in the Nam. His voice so soothing, and his approach to everything so sincere, and warming he is one you should never be afraid of to converse with. His laid back attitude just gives a comfort zone for all. Seadog a man who has done many things in life. A man who has hit the bottom hard, shipped off to the Nam, and all the way through kept his believe of BTU has only pressed right through. Hes been poisoned by some jerk off in a restaurant, and his attitude is "It happened because it was suppose to happen one way or another." He has been up and down, and all around. Hes done stuff in life that is never to be spoken of again unless you ask. Hes ready for any conversation such an older gentlemen who has his own issues such as a hurt back, and night terrors almost every night he is tired as heck and he will talk to you to 3 am his time if you truly need it. However some of you are afraid to go straight up to an older gentlemen to speak of these issues. Captain Mendez, someone who dedicates his life to the happiness and well being of other people, gives a younger generations perspective, his mentality and maturity far exceeds his age, BTU (Bigger Than Us) gave his son for everyone including Mendez, and Mendez utilizes that to the fullest. He is a strong believer of BTU and uses BTU to help anyone who needs it. This unit gives you all the opportunity to do something. We want you to have all the fun in the world here, and don't be sorry for the things that have been done to you in this world, turn around and use it to better yourself. BTU gives you trials because BTU knows life will be hard and you will be prepared and slide right through with ease. And this unit isn't the first line of defense but it is a place for when you need it we got it.
Sincerely,
The First Special Service Force
