Happy Anniversary

It's been one year since we started the First Special Service Force and it's been an interesting ride. We have survived attacks from other units and we caught seven players that joined our unit to try to destroy us. That being said, we can move on to better things.

Out of the eight members that started this unit, seven are still with us : First Lieutenant Ste-Marie, Second Lieutenant Stryker, Sergeant Parker, Sergeant Cabrera, Sergeant Killer, Private Pilon and myself, Captain Sea Dog. We have become friends and I feel I am also friends with most of the other members as well.

We are a good unit. Yes, there are problems but I suppose that is the same for all other units. What proves to me we are a good unit is the fact that few members leave us after joining.

I want to take this time to thank the original members for all they have done. Ste-Marie,we have talked for hours. You have listened while I blew off steam and you never complained. Stryker, you pay for almost everything and spend almost all of your free time working on stuff for the unit. You hardly get to play but you carry on. Parker, you are another member that works for hours and doesn't get to play much. Cabbie, if I need you and I can find you , you get in and help. You have always done your best. Killer, you have pitched in and done what was needed to be done. You always gave 200 %. You have shown the others how to be the best. Pilon, you tried your best to get new members and you must be the best recruiter of any unit. Jonhson, the eight founding member of the FSSF who has left the unit, worked hard. Him and I spent hours comming up with the standards we run the unit on. Thank you all of you.

I don't want to leave out everyone else that has been here for several months. The day will come when we will celebrate your first full year with us.

We have a great group of members and I can't possibly name you all and everything you do. It takes all of us to run this unit and to keep it going. We all know who does what and to each one of you, I say thank you. I don't know how many more months this unit will continue to operate but I hope that if this unit dies, we all keep in touch. I also hope I have been able to teach you something you can take and use in real life. Those of you that have talked to me about the problems in their lives, I hope I have been able to help.

Hello All,

If I may add to what Captain has said, I am proud to belong to a unit with a bunch of great people. I think we have a great time together and if we put aside the few things that do set us off and start issues, we really are a tight group.

Keep it up and be proud of what you have helped create. For the new guys, we're happy you are joining us. I hope you can all find a place in this unit and find a way to contribute as much as you want you.

What you put into this unit individually ends up being what you get out of it. If you put in a lot of effort, you will find that this is a valorising unit to be in and the command staff notices people that distinguish themselves in that fashion.

On a final note, I hope that the command staff is how you want it to be. That is I hope that we act according to what you would expect from us.

Hopefully, during this second year, the FSSF will be able to be a front runner like it has been for quite some time now in the realism community.

Congratulations to the FSSF for constantly navigating through storms and finding a way to get out of them relatively unharmed. It means a lot to see that we have never thought of disolving the unit, nor have we thought of merging with another unit. We're here for the long run.

I would like to thank you guys for accepting me into the unit.  I have fun here, and I have friends here too.  There's another reason this makes the unit great, the fairness.  To me this is the best unit i've been in to.  Although this is the second unit i've been into, the other unit I was in was not fair. No one had a say in anything. If you forgot to post a LOA, or you forgot the meeting, you got a demerit. Thank you for being fair.  I am proud to be part of the FSSF.  Lord willing this unit will be running forever.  Also, the guys who works on the unit alot thank you for doing it, and Capt. Sea Dog thank you for being the best Captain.

This is my first unit I have ever been in and I have learned a lot. I played the game only 1 month before joining and I have to say that I would have never met so many great people had I not joined. I hope we continue dominating everyone else.

Congratz all, i wish i could be one of the eight that have ben here from the start, i was here for 6 months from the start and then my comp f**ked up, im back now its fixed tho, so idc what anyone says! I say ive always been a member in the FSSF even if it was documented anywhere xD
